When designing this poster, my goal was to utilize Ed Ruscha's straightforward and minimalist approach to typography while also embracing his experimentation with materials and textures. Thus, I really embraced a more analog design process, printing out his name and the body copy we were given at various scales to push the limits of what was readable and what allowed the texture to show when scanned until I landed on the final design you see here.
